Ylang Ylang Massage Oil
Ylang Ylang, or “the flower of flowers”, received its name after a Philippine legend of a girl who vanished into thin air upon falling in love. In her place appeared a tree that had never graced the earth before.
Ylang ylang is extracted from the tropical flowers of the Cananga odorata tree, and has a deep floral scent. It originated in Indonesia and spread to Malaysia and the Phillipines.
In both the east and west, the oil has been used for its relaxing properties, helping to calm the effects that stress and anxiety can have on the heart. It helps those who suffer from frequent headaches and muscle tension to promote feelings of calmness and improved mood
